The Final Test

Today is Friday and we got our final writing test~~~~~~ after the test, i foud lots people chose the topic of " the advantages/ disadvantages of a energy".... i dont know why, maybe because its close to our last major essay..anyway.

i chose "Are dreams important"...i dont know why but i dont want to write about energy anymore....i really dont like writing about the technologies becuse i dont have enough knowledge ...hahaaa..

We will have two more days of final tests, and then we will be free!! i hope everyone will do well on their reading, listening and speaking tests!!!! i hope everyone will pass this course because we all worked very hard in this cold winter.........

The winter holiday is coming very soon , but i still dont really know what am i gonna do during my holiday, but im excited about getting a holiday maybe because its tooooo cold outside and i really dont want to go out.................

Maybe i'll go to work for couple weeks to get enough money to buy a ticket to go to somewhere around Vancouver, but i m not sure about that because im lazy and i really afraid of being cold.....

Party Time!

Hahaaa.......its so happy( and sad) that today is our last day of class!! In addition, we finished our presentations (eventhough i didnt do well), yeah! its all finished!!

i was soooo excited when i first saw all the food that everybody brought, people got lots of great food!!!

i love the pizza the cake the dumplings and alllll the other snakes!!! it was the greatest eating party in the EAP program !! hahaaa~~~~

i was incredible because i put pizza and cake into my mouth together at the beginning.... i was soooooo hungry. In fact i felt very hungry when i was giving a presentation.. so actually i was think about eating pizza while i was talking about The Supremes...............

i just wanted to finish it as soon as possible, (but i really care about my presentation mark, i just couldnt control myself) and eventually i got pizza cakes , fruits and lots of snakes!!! After eating all those food, i felt a liiittle bit regret because i forgot i was on my diet....

Anyway the party was wonderful and the food was delicious ... Thank Sandi and Scott and everyone for bringing the food, and i hope everyone will do well on their final exams !! Gooooood luck everyone!!!

Final Presentation

Okayyyyy...we are almost finished the EAP program........finally......and before the final exams, we have to do the final presentation....so sad!!

Our topic is "Diana Ross and Supremes"..but unfortunately, i know nothing about Diana or ..the other two girls.

however, everything turns interesting to me because i found out that they are the real "Dream Girls"!

I watched the movie "Dream Girls" not a long time ago in chinook center and i love it! I was touched by the story and i liked the girls' wonderful voice ( and Beyoncé was hot ).

I still dont know about the "Supremes" very well, but im more confident about this presentation. After doing the research, i found that The Supremes' members changed a lot. There were orianginally four girls until McGlown was replaced by Martin and later Martin left the group.

Diana Ross played the most impotant role in their group, the lead singer, and she had a thin and calm voice which made her became famous. Well..thats pretty much all about my presentation. Be honest, im not well prepared 'cause The Supremes has a long story and its really complicated....its hard to explain , but i hope i will do a good job anyway........

B-Day

Today is December 1st and its my 20th birthday!!!!!!!!

From now on, im 20 yrs old, i feel i am getting mature and ...getting old...hahaa..

Tonight i went to the Korean Village to have some barbeque and it was soooooooooo delicious!!

I went there with other 6 people, but we ordered their DINNER FOR TEN, and we got all of them finished.......................... and after the meal i was even hardly to move....but the meal was so nice and we had a very happy time together.

Also i received lots of beautiful gifts from my lovely friends. Thank you guys very muuuuuch. . . . .

After our dinner, we walk to my home and played snow eventhough it was so cold. We had a big snow fight. However, it was a little bit unfair because we got more girls than guys.. You would never imagine how crazy we were, but we were sooooo happy.

Well, im 20 now, and i think ive changed a lot, but i still miss China and my family......im really looking forward to going back to China to watch the Olympic Games Hahahaaa....
I hope i still can buy a ticket..i mean i hope its not that expensive... I need to work more to get more money!!! I need MONEY~~~

Emily Carr

we visited an art museum last Friday and it was really fun. we learned about a famous canadian painter Emily Carr. From her work i can see that she loves native culture theme and environment theme.

Lots of her work express her idea about all kinds of culture events and her life goals. Some pictures make people feel happy, but most of her works show out her sadness and depression.

Sometimes she worried about the Canada's environment and sometimes she cared about native people's lives, and she use her pictures to record and express her own idea.

I like some of her pics but some of them are hard to understand, they are hard to tell meanings. i like this kind of activity cuz it was fun and we learned a lot from it, and it is worth to spend 10 bucks to learn something meaningful. But i really dont like the lights in the musuem because they made me sleepy.............................zzzz......eventhough i wanted to see more pics but i left early because i was almost fall into sleep~~......................

Loooong Weekend

Its great that we are taking a reading day holiday... but actually im doing nothing about study..well, at least im still doing my blog!

Its very exciting that we are finishing this program very soon and im planning to go to Vancouver with my roomates this winter holiday and im looking forward to it.

One of my roomates is going back to China this December, and i really envy her.....................................anyway, i'll have fun in vanvouver for sure!

well, i know i have to finish the eap program frist.... and i'll work hard to do my work, especially to get a B plus on my writing..hopefully..

It is because i really dont want to take the effective writing class. i dont know why, i just feel it would be really hard to pass. Therefore, i need to work harder now to make sure that i dont need to take a effective writing test.......

One of my friend is taking the effective writing class, eventhough he never said its hard, i still hope i dont need to take it . I know that we are going to have lots of assignments to do when we start our university life. I am not afraid of doing homework, but i am concerned about my English communicating skills.... i m worried about if im good enough....

Anyways, if i can graduate from EAP program, that means im ready to go to the university. Right?

Okay, im going to go to bed now eventhough its only 10pm.. I believe its good for my health!haha...

Flying Dreams

Have you ever had a flying dream? I had one when i was only about 10 years old, and unlike any other dream, i can remember this dream clearly.

it was really fun and comfortable. therefore, i wrote about flying dreams in my fourth major eassy because i was very curious about flying dreams.

A research says that people who are creative and lucid dreamers are more likely to have flying dreams.

i think in my case, im a creative person because i love painting, and i love to design pics by myself.

I have tried many times to have another flying dream, but i failed. i dont know why maybe im less creative than before..haha..

i will never forget how floating in the sky feels. it was amazing and incredible confortable. Anyway, i will keep trying to have another flying dream by telling myself this: Im going to have a flying dream... again and again... im not sure if it works, but thats how on-line psychologist says, so i will try it anyway eventhough it seems unbelievable....

Trick or Treat!

Haha.. Today is Halloween~Oh haha..

Happy Halloween everyone~ I feel very happy today eventhough im sick :( and thank u for asking about me everybody. I feel much better now, and im sure that i can go to class tomorrow, on time!

I heard about that you guys had a really fun time together today, and i feel sorry that i wasnt there...

Actually, i did research about vampires last night, and i was going to tell you guys some stories about vampire today if i got chance, but so sad i wasnt able to share my stories with u guys.

Anyway, after I did research i found Vampires are really interesting, and horrible at the same time. I thought they belong to devils, but i found that they are not devils, not gods of course, and not humanbeings. They are just vampires! They are a kind of beings that are given up by God. They will never grow old or grow up. And as we know, they suck others blood to support their lives.

In my mind, vampires are very...cool. and full of mystery. and most of them are pretty handsome! hahaa....

Hello everyone, its the time to write my new blog...
Several days ago, I signed for the FACEBOOK, and i found it was really fun. Ive added some friends through the MSN messager, but Im still looking for more friends who are willing to add me as their friends!

I think the FaceBook will be a useful tool to contact with each other after we finish the EAPP, and go to university. It is fun because I can use it to search friends by typing in their email address, or even just a name. I even found many friends who I have lost connetion for many years by using the FaceBook. Is it great? I felt so excited about that.

Well, I think it is the time for me to continue my third major essay now....
Im going to write about TATTOO......
It seems interesting, but it is hard at the same time...
After a long time of struggling, I finally decided to write about why do people get a tattoo..

Blog Time~

Now Im in my writing class and Scott gives us a few time to write our blogs. Actually, I dont know what can I write about in my blog because I am thinking about my Major Essay!

I feel so painful to continue writing my essay, and it took me a long time to know about the guy who named George Vancouver. It is so hard to introduce a person who I know nothing about....

Somebody might ask me why I choose him but not someone that I familiar with. Well, the first reason is I just feel the name "Vancouver" is COOL because its famous~ I know this is a strange reason..

Another reason is .....I dont konw any explorer well eventhough I know their names and I know they are famous explorers, but I have no idea what they are famous for!

Therefore, I chose someone that I dont know about but owns a cool name.!

Okay..now is the time to continue my cool guy's essay!~I hope it will get a good mark anyway..

OMG!

Today is a such sad day~! As we know, we have to hand in our SECOND MAJOR ESSAY on Friday, but in today's Listening Speaking class we got another bad news! That is we are going to give a mini PRESENTATION!~~ SO SAD~

The topic is about extreme sports which I know almost nothing about... Im still thinking about the topics I can talk about and I dont have any idea...

When I was struggling thinking about whether I should plan my essay first or the presentation, I finally decided to write a blog first! Writing down all the "messy ideas" in my mind.

Well, I think I'd better to do my homework now eventhough its suffering..Haha...

Before I start my writing, why dont I have some snakes first....LOL~~~

Anyway, I will finish my homework on time! I mean, hopefully...

SUSHI Time

Today, I had a BIG dinner with my friends in a Japanese restaurant which is near by the SAIT College.

It was a self-served restaurant, and it offers sushi, barbeque, and other Janpanese food. It is a great place!


We ordered a lots of Sushi and some barbeque because all of us were hungry so we "cleaned up" all the food at once after they were placed on the table.
After we finished our first order, we ordered two more times!

Can you imagine how we looked like? No body stopped until we can not eat any more.
I dont eat a lot, so I was the first person who stopped. It was so funny to see other people eating thier food in rush.

All of us had a happy time together. It was a wonderful place for us to get enough food, and also is a good place for us to know more about each other.
The Sushi was great, and my friends are cute!
